山縣美礼プロフィール
1997〜2003年、ミネアポリスで女優・ダンサーとして活動。帰国後は大駱駝艦無尽塾、岩下徹、伊藤キムから舞踏と即興を学び、これまでにdie pratze(ダンスがみたい10！インターナショナルシリーズ)、ST　Spot（ラボ20）、Weisman Art Museum（National Dance Educator’s Conference）で振付作品を上演。2007年にBankArt 1929「大野一雄フェスティバル」で一般公募作品として選ばれた『素敵な関係』をソロで踊る。同年に自身のカンパニー「朱鷺色卵」を旗揚げし、2008年に岡田利規キュレーターの「こまばアゴラ劇場夏のサミット」で『こなたかなた』を上演。西洋で学んだ「動くこと」、舞踏で学んだ「動かされること」のバランスを探る作品作りを試みている。

Mirei Yamagata is a dancer/choreographer/actor who was based in Minneapolis (U.S.A) from 1997-2003. After returning to Japan she has studied Butoh extensively with Dairakudakan, Kim Itoh, and Tohru Iwashita. She has performed her pieces in venues such as die pratze, STSPOT, and the Weisman Art Museum. In 2007 she performed her solo A Nice Relationship in the Kazuo Ohno Festival at BankArt 1929, and in the same year she launched the dance company Tokiirotamago. In 2008 she performed her first company piece Konatakanata at Komaba Agora Theater under the curation of Toshiki Okada. She is constantly searching for the balance “to move” (learned from Western technique) and “to be moved” (learned from Butoh).
